Unfortunately DD-WRT did not run much better for me, even Kong builds. Next big mistake was getting a r8000p hoping DD-WRT would soon do a build. Became apparent that Brainslayer did not have any interest. Since both Netgear and DD-WRT have issues with the r8000 it makes me wonder if the real problem is the drivers being provided by Broadcomm.
