The C93 has a buffer built into the bolt carrier. You don't need a buffer in the back of the stock. To fill the hole you can use a regular HK buffer with the guts removed or just a little block of rubber or thick plastic glued inside the metal part of the stock, like the HK93 stock has.

Another benefit is the recoil spring assembly is only shortened less than 1.5” and very few coils of spring are removed making a very robust positive functioning weapon. Recoil buffer installs between bolt or bolt carrier and whatever the bolt or bolt carrier stops against when the bolt is fully retracted during firing (installation location varies with the specific firearm). It was a simple fix. I have a buffered carrier, and added a buffered collapsible stock. Twas too much buffering. Went back to the unbuffered fixed stock, and all has been well ever since. Plus the fixed stock is a heck of a lot more comfortable anyway, and not too much hope a decent cheek weld with the collapsing stock
Jun 10, 2015 · The C93’s receiver is built from a single piece of folded steel welded together along the bottom, forming a shell that holds the fire control system, bolt, carrier, and barrel trunnion. Up until around 1980, the HK93s came with buffered bolt carriers and an all plastic A2 stock just like the HK43s had. The stock had a urethane insert in the back for the buffer on bolt carrier to strike during recoil. After 1980, H&K switched to the non-buffered bolt carriers. There were only 52 HK93s produced in 1974.

This is a common step that is to be completed by the builder. It is the model C93 Sporter and is chambered in 5.56 NATO. It is in used but good condition. It comes with both an A2 fixed stock and an A3 collapsible stock. The collapsible stock needs to be tightened up as it has some play in it. Looks like it has a HK33 buffered bolt carrier group, probably HK Malaysian contract surplus. New ATI production MP5F style collapsible buttstock assembly.
